OK, if a storm landfalls on the farthest north portion of the east GOM coast it could likely be heading for the eastern Panhandle (which is all inland).

Don't mean to nitpick, but I repeat that, here on the western FL Panhandle, we are NOT on the eastern GOM coast. If we were, when I went down to the beach at sunset, facing the Gulf, the sun would set pretty much straight ahead of me, in my face. Nope.

OK, enough. It's a minor pet peeve, feel free to ignore me.
