Never heard of that word either. I had to listen to the pronunciation to see what it is supposed to sound like. I would just use the word recon. It's strange saying "reconnoiter" in a sentence.

Here's some recon images of the Air Force reconnoitering Willa. (a made-up word like recon'ing sounds better)

Highest 10 second estimated SFMR winds were 114 mph.
Highest 10 second flight level winds were 125 mph.
Highest 30 second flight level winds were 121 mph.

At least the winds have come down a lot since its peak. The right front quadrant is currently passing over Isla Maria Madre though.

The official sustained winds were 125 mph at 11am EDT.

No surprises on track so far. Still forecast to pass between the major population centers.
