Congratulations to Jim too by the way

While Jim wouldn't have gotten category 5 winds, he was still in the eye of a category 5 hurricane at landfall. Extremely impressive. He couldn't have been in a better place. Jim smartly stayed a little bit inland. You don't want to be caught in the surge zone.

For those that want to support Jim and all his hard work, you can donate to him here:

There may not be anything like that again anytime soon, but there will be others that might be close enough that he has the opportunity to chase if he is able. It takes a lot of time to do what he does.

I can't recall if his truck was ever fully repaired. A very impressive vehicle to withstand what it did. He has a really good heavy truck. No one else should ever try that with their car! And I think he even got the truck's glass even more reinforced since Michael? (It already had been but since the protective glass broke in Michael I think he was going to get even thicker glass.) He was far enough inland to not see the storm surge which was extremely important.

Jim's position in relation to category 5 Michael's eye:

It's amazing that Jim broadcast live from the eye of a category 5 hurricane!
