we are programmed to worry :)

forecast qpf over my area was over a foot not too long ago, but patterns change, forecasts get pinned down better as recon data will feed into models, so don't worry too much until you have to.

I have a lot of Naval vets in our extended family also - steadfast individuals, every one - I'm sure your son will be fine, but I'll be keeping him & y'all in my good thoughts
