I'm still thinking about it. I am looking at some past storms, like Katrina to see what recon data had.

They didn't have SFMR then, but looking at some flight level winds.

If they distrust the SFMR so much at high intensity, do we need to question past storms?

Either way, for the Bahamas, if it comes across some of the islands, it will catastrophic. A little more or less catastrophic shouldn't change anyone plan's there for the storm.
