I like CMC for initial storm formation, GFS for new storm direction, NAVGEM for storms over land, ECMWF for overall reality and accuracy checks, HWRF and HMON for established storm intensity forcasts.
Right now I'm guessing Christobal is sucking up a lot of dry air coming from Texas.
NHC forcasts a TS at Landfall. The models seem to support them at this time.
I'll check the convection after nightfall tonight.
