I guess the NHC's site might like to keep the color range more simple:

I like the extra detail at WPC's site.

In other things I wish that would change, I really hate that floaters jump around when they change position:

The old floater site adjusted the imagery so that it didn't jump like that when the position changed. I also miss all the old overlays too, like storm points. Just not the same and since it's been a few years, I guess they are not going to bring some of the features back.

I've gotten over three inches of rain so far here where I am in Tampa. Some areas around here have gotten a lot more.

Eventually more areas will have to keep an eye on river levels around the Gulf:
