They are tipping back a little bit to the west tonight. Just saw the 18z Euro on TV and it is nail bitingly close to S.Fl while NAVGEM now brings it inland to Florida. HWRF also shifted their runs west. Overnight runs will be interesting to see if the trend continues or stops.
One reason this may make landfall in Fla is because the storm may considerably weaken due to shear and dry air in its forecast. Weak systems like to go more west. |
