Beachlover, I am having a difficult time trusting any of the models even this close to time of impacts 'somewhere' in the gulf. I never did make reservations for an evacuation hotel but may still do so this afternoon to help alleviate that source of anxiety about where to hide if needed. Our property has just a ground level driveway with no shelter for our car even though our house is safely up on high pilings ... so we would need to leave if any significant storm surge is likely. Wish we could fast-forward to winter. You will be in my thoughts the next few days. Sending wishes for both health and safety.
