You said it all, Chris. Spot on in all respects as usual.

Currently 57 degrees here, and that would seem reason to celebrate were it not for the exact factor you cited: Zeta's continued strength at landfall. Very disconcerting.

I'm afraid the NHC is losing some credibility on the northern Gulf Coast.
