I had seen that and wasn't exactly sure what to make of it. Then it seemed like there was more convection on the western side than there was before. So I thought it might be stronger.

I just added a recon image that shows the radar and satellite at the same time, along with the center fix from recon, all with a couple minutes of each other to kind of see how things compare.

SFMR Peak (10 second average) surface wind estimate of about 59mph so far. 30 second flight level wind was 83 mph, 10 second flight level of 85mph. That was on the eastern side. They are about to sample the northeast quadrant and some of the most intense convection.
