Inbound to the center in the NE quadrant they found 60mph SFMR (10 second surface estimate). Flight level winds were not stronger. It didn't end up being in the most intense convection though, as seen from the image. (satellite at about 8:51pm EDT) But those winds will give a lot of people some gusty winds. |
