And just to show it can change, the SDP is now up to 3.0 for Ida as of 8pm EDT Saturday. 12 hours ago it was 2.2.
Terajoules at that time:
Winds > TS Force: 31TJ
Winds > Hurricane Force: 4TJ
Again, this is very technical and is based on a very simple wind field and not a detailed analysis of the wind field. I only wanted to mention it since I just said it was 2.5 and now it is 3.0. |
