Re: Russian actors filming movie on ISS

I had heard about Tom Cruise possibly filming something in space and then the Russians trying to beat him to it, which they have now. We're living in such a weird time.

I do kind of worry about William Shatner's age. I don't know what kind of g-force the Blue Origin rocket has. Maybe it is less. It's all for only a few minutes in space.

I don't know about all this space tourism. The good, it gets us further along in space exploration. The billionaires are kind of the ones doing it now since NASA is letting private companies do a lot of what they were doing. So I guess they want to make even more money. But it is weird, like the last one that raised money for charity, but cost so much to begin with. (but the guy also donated a lot to charity as well) It was supposed to be inspirational, and I guess some of these are to some extent, but it might get a bit old rather fast. Eventually we will colonize space, and it's going to take money to do the research, so I guess we're stuck with the billionaires letting other millionaires and billionaires pay for these really expensive tourist trips to fund other stuff.

But the bad is everything else. These are the kind of people that avoid paying taxes to an extent that should be illegal, but they get away with it. It's so odd that they are doing all this, during a pandemic no less, when people are suffering so much. Maybe there are a lot of young people being inspired by it and will want to pursue careers related to it. I hope so. That's how I try to look at it.

I fixed the italic feature. I broke the bold and underline too when I made some code changes.
