An interesting list. I guess there's not too much correlation between early season activity and entire season activity, unless you have a lot of early season activity. A few times there were zero storms before August 1st and we ended up with 15. One time 6 before that date and we ended with 15. Another time 4 and then ended with 8. I guess if you do have a busy start through that date you are more likely to be above average, but not always. With three this year before that date though it's hard to tell what is more likely based just on statistics. With 3 it seems like it could go either way based on statistics alone, but with 4 or more it is more likely to end with a busy season based on statistics. The one very clear thing, we have a lot of season to go with the majority of the storms to come.
