Made landfall just west of Acapulco Bay, pretty much a direct hit on the city. The eye filled in some as the eyewall was making its way onshore, but the damage is certainly going to be really really bad in places. I don't know what the wind field of the storm looked like. We should be doing better recon in the East Pacific.
I would assume high rises will have windows blown out. But the area hasn't been hit by anything like this before. They are not going to have homes that can withstand a storm like this. Even further out from the most destructive winds, it's going to be a lot of damage.
