Evacuations have begun along portions of the FL west coast… FL is preparing for the largest evacuation since 2017 (Hurricane Irma).
The expansion of the wind field of Milton on approach to the FL west coast will drive a devastating storm surge near and to the right of where the center crosses the coast. Unlike Helene, dense coastal population areas may see the highest and most devastating impacts.
Heed all evacuation recommendations!
