had a year's worth of rain half way through the year then the tap just shut off, Aug, Sept, Oct were dry as a bone https://www.weather.gov/hgx/climate_graphs_iah starting to get rain again in Nov, though still much of Texas is in burn ban mode https://tfsweb.tamu.edu/TexasBurnBans/
