Going to be tough to develop

So, surface pressures are way low, convection is firing at 55Kft+, shear nearly ziltch; and yet models are NADA.

Two reasons:

1)  No anti-cyclone.
2)  MIMIC-TPW flow is in the wrong direction.

Mid and east GOM buoy winds are all out of the south and west GOM out of the SW.

Almost, but no cigar.
