Jac I believe I have misinterpreted what the Japanese Meteorological Agency is saying.

Is this correct: Central pressure = the air pressure or millibars around the eye of the storm.

Is this correct:  920hPa = 920 millibars/mbars

Analyses at 05/21 UTC & Forecast for 06/09 UTC etc..  I thought these were different times I am now guessing they are different areas of the storm.  Which is it time or area?

Now you understand why I mostly post information and don't try to voice what I am posting.  I prefer that and you and others do the explaining till I get a better understanding.  

I wish some of the others would chime in and give their opinions like they do for the Atlantic Basin.
