That is the system I mentioned earlier today.
The GFS run this morning showed two systems combining or phasing in the NE mid next week.
One system was a mid-level shortwave coming from the west and the other a surface low coming up from the SW.
With the buildup of heavy moisture starting in the GOM, as shown in MIMIC-TPW, this could definitely be a bomb.
CMC is also hinting the surface low as being a warm-core.
Need to see how the models develop this.
Looks very interesting at the moment.
