I will defiantly take that 16-18".that 20" mark is just a hair to my south.
Just hope this model does not do what it did with last storm.Had me in 16-18",then 2 runs later had me at 1-2".But don't see that happening with this one.
Winds and coastal flooding will be a major concern with this storm also.
HIGH WINDS COMBINED WITH HIGHER ASTRONOMICAL TIDES ASSOCIATED WITH THE APPROACHING NEW MOON COULD RESULT IN COASTAL FLOODING APPROACHING MODERATE BENCHMARKS WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACROSS PARTS OF WESTERN LONG ISLAND SOUND...AND IN THE SOUTH SHORE BACK BAYS OF WESTERN LONG ISLAND.
