Relocate to where?  If a wealthy and powerful entity is willing to buy my property for what it was worth before this fiasco, then I am ready to sell and leave.   With the way this is unfolding, there will be no reason to stay.  However, I do not believe that BP or any other entity has enough funds to buy every parcel of gulf-front property.  The real estate values along the entire gulf are now tainted with the stigma of oil contamination. What recourse is there to compensate for that?
