You're preaching to the choir Bobbi--I am as well-versed in the "it only takes one" and "they DON'T always turn" mantras as anyone here, as you know.
No amount of warning or doomsday forecasts will prevent New Yorkers and New Englanders from indulging denial and indifference when the next one hits. The next one WILL hit--whether in our lifetimes or 200 years from now. And when it does, very few people up there will believe it until it's blowing in their windows. I saw it and heard it every year I lived up there--those people are just impossible (I know, I was one of them!)
