| Chuck, that mid-level low you refer to makes for a fascinating corollary with the events that brought Hugo to the coast in 1989, as someone pointed out here earlier. To my eye it looks like there may be a bit too much distance between Earl and the mid-level low for any direct interaction to occur between the two. However, if the two systems eat away enough at the higher pressures between them, it may be a different ball game. And with Earl not moving at a terribly swift pace right now, that's in the realm of possibility. |
