Ah, all the critical thinkers with the models they come up with in their heads.
They are excellent at predicting events by interpolation when they fall into the norm of things.
But, when an event is outside the norm, their models fail, more often than not, to accurately extrapolate reality.
The black swan bites them in the ass again and their arrogance turns to humility.
