Tim... have you seen our politics lately? We're likely heading towards a coalition that includes a separatist party and a PM who really only wants the job for a better looking resume when he returns to Harvard. The con's as they're called here (we call the liberals the fibs btw... whats worse, a fibber or a conner?) is going to fall tomorrow because of a non-confident motion brought about because of a contempt of parliament charge.... the saviour is still another 6-8 years away from taking the reigns of the liberals. And... this is our 4th federal election in 7 years. We could see voter turn out in the low 30 percentile. And lets not even get into the countless UN resolutions against our native reserves.. which make some 3rd world countries look like a paradise.

... Japan was actually the easiest to get a transfer actually. France... I wouldnt need a transfer, and yes, my 4 days in Paris are more of a fact finding mission then a vacation. I'll prolly finally be fully bi-lingual come june which is an added bonus I'm sure...
