Storm Cells coming in from the Gulf have spawned hurricane force winds

Delagado on Fox 13 showed wind measurement over Tampa Palms at 103 mph...others between 80 and 90. We have had two cells with bar echoes come directly over our home and then develop the tornadoes over Odessa area moving east toward Zephyr Hills and Hwy 39. Damage reports have not come in yet.
BTW, Delagado (FOX) and Jerve (NBC) missed the prediction on this last night. They did not believe we would have major activity because of what we had yesterday. Dennis Phillips (ABC Accuweather) called it correctly. He predicted a very rough ride and he was correct. He's not my favorite met personality, but he does get it right more often than the others, I think. |
