depends on if she stays together

you can find the answer in the noaa hurricane FAQs (see link on Jim's home page)

"if the system remains a tropical cyclone as it moves across Central America, then it will keep the original name. Only if the tropical cyclone dissipates with just a tropical disturbance remaining, will the hurricane warning center give the system a new name assuming it becomes a tropical cyclone once again in its new basin. "

the 6A public advisory thinks:

THE CENTER WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE OVER SOUTHEASTERN MEXICO TONIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY...AND INTO THE EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN GULF OF MEXICO AS A REMNANT LOW LATER ON THURSDAY.

if that happens and if it becomes a ts again, then it would be renamed

but they currently expect her to dissipate

the track graphics on nhc's site will change at 8 pm pdt
