There is a lot of controversy of KFOR's coverage of that storm and heightening of hype (insert other word if you like) and advice which led many to take to the road during the rush hour (not even talking on storm chasers, talking on locals) and fear that it would become a F5 Moore Tornado even tho it was nothing like that one in shape, size or motion.
TWC is good at showing the illusion of drama but in general they are pretty conservative with their OCMs in the field.
Any other set up Bettes would have been fine... and 3 very professional, extremely cautious storm chasers would not have been dead.
A bad convergence of worst case scenarios and it's sad and I'm sad to have lost a friend.
It's not so cut and dry as a dry line what happened on Friday when so many people died and so many people were out on the road trying to escape a multi-vortex twister that was impossible to run away from and ... upset, annoyed and saddened.
