Yes, Chantal's forward speed is so high, 26 mph, it's going to take a very unusual steering current to throw her off her current path. It may drift a little closer to the Florida east shoreline, but for Chantal to have any dangerous effect on the gulf coast of Florida would be very unusual at this point. Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, however, should be more concerned. .
