Well...it will most likely get torn to shreds in a few days but this may be a tropical storm already...the models are not that great with intensity and it is in an ok environment right now for development and will be for a couple of days... Recently stoems have skipped over the depression phase due to NHC and Hurricane hunters canceling flights...which were not necessary to save money and avoid risk to just see if there is a depression or not. Nonetheless, 97L is getting its act together quickly....just my 2 cents.... I will be going back out on the Rig ( MC 877 Thunderhorse) Sunday so I do have stake in how much this thing develops and where it goes...
