| Another weird thing about this season is that cold fronts continued to sweep across the Gulf throughout the summer, which is not typical down here. I have been watching each one as most have tried to spin something up over the water, but none to the point of a classified depression yet. The more whacks these systems take at the Gulf, especially with October being the month in which Florida gets struck by a tropical system more often than any other month, the more chance we have of seeing something develop. |
