Myself included. This thing began to blow up a couple days ago and yet a lot were still saying this thing would be sheared and torn apart as it approached the Florida coast and there was no way in hell it'd make it to hurricane status. The GFS and Euro all but kept this thing a depression as it made landfall. Not sure what happened to the Low that was supposed to shear this thing to smitherines, but this thing is getting more and more impressive as it approaches the panhandle and now is becoming a serious concern for those just east of Appalachicola.

The eye is tightening and well-defined and the thunderstorms around it are becoming stronger and stronger. This looks like a classic cat. 3 storm and I seriously don't think the panhandle is ready for it as they were told this thing would be sheared apart.
