Franklin is still having some issues w/ dry air entrainment. The circulation is very healthy and he even has a formative banding eye present, but the convection is generally weak around the LLC and recent sat images show a moat between the centre and the main feeder to the E.
He'll have to correct that to make hurricane strength before the Yucatan. He only has ~10 or so hours. |
