At levels above 60 feet major lowland flooding begins as homes above the gage begin to flood and several streets near the gage are inundated.
At levels above 59.3 the bridge at Briar Forest SW is inundated.
At levels above 57 feet moderate lowland flooding begins as portions of Briar Forest Drive begin to flood.
At levels above 54.5 feet garages on Arrowhead begin to flood.
At levels above 52 feet minor lowland flooding begins as pool decks, tennis courts, and lower garage area are inundated.




At levels above 32 feet major flooding begins as portions of Allen Parkway and Memorial Drive are under 1 to 2 feet of water and homes upstream of the gage begin flooding.
At levels above 29.5 feet moderate lowland flooding begins Memorial Drive between Sandman Streeet and Waugh Drive becomes inundated.
At levels above 28.7 feet Allen Parkway east of Montrose Boulevard and Memorial Drive east of Waugh Drive flood.
At levels above 28 feet minor lowland flooding begins as water spills out of main channel and floods the lowest levels of apartments near the gage.
At levels abve 17 feet hike and bike trails within the channel become inundated.




NOTE: Forecasts for the Buffalo Bayou at West Belt Drive are issued as needed during times of high water, but are not routinely available.
