Yes made landfall on Ocean Isle, NC. Local news media reported just a few minutes ago. Many roads/streets in Cherry Grove area under water due to storm surge. Garden City also. Several high water rescues in both areas. I am inland from beaches in Socastee, SC, 5 miles west of Surfside Beach, 7 miles southwest of Myrtle Beach. In my area we have 4 inches plus rain, wind gusts to 45mph or so. Have not lost electricity, and wind are now coming from southwest blowing off shore.
