Understood, Law. So sorry. This is just too awful to contemplate. But maybe the storm will swing away from you as Sally did.

Here on Pensacola Beach, we've still got debris removal still going on. Can only imagine debris flying around...

Worse, there's also in process a serious shoring up of the bridge off the island, whose approaches were undermined by Sally. We're currently able to use one side of it, but if there's another storm??
We could be marooned - or unable to return to our homes if we evacuate.

This is not the Three Mile Bridge between Gulf Breeze and Pensacola that was so terribly damaged by the runaway barges and will be closed for six months or more, but our local egress to Gulf Breeze. It's our only way off the island right now, because the road miles along the Gulf Islands National Seashore to Navarre Beach, where there's another bridge, is closed due to severe damage of the roadway during Sally.

Local officials had better be ordering 24-7 work shifts, NOW.

Talk about stress. {{{deep breaths}}}
