Sorry, Law, just saw your post. Well, we weren't here for Opal, but I know what it (and Erin) did to Pensacola Beach in the mid-90's. I also recall people telling me they were awakened at 2 a.m. by blaring loudspeakers mounted on police cars, telling them to evacuate ahead of Opal. Good lord I don't even want to THINK about that.
