some (not all) of my healthcare worker-relatives got the 1st vaccine, awaiting news on the 2nd round. Not sure about my law enforcement or other govt IC relatives, we don't talk much, they're busy. Sister who has MCL cancer has not been approached to get in line for one, not sure how chemo would interfere with it - maybe better she doesn't ? Sister who does dialysis with at-risk patients has not had the chance to get one yet. They are all in 4 diff states, so there's local regs also. Brother who had covid pneumonia last Nov, was in ICU, still recouping at home with PT, still doesn't have all his strength back (non-smoker, not obese, just had seasonal allergies a lot)

spoke to a local Kroger worker this week who said he got one through work, but he said many who worked there opted not to... don't trust it (wtf - I may go to online grocery shopping)

even though my husband & 2 sons were deemed "essential workers", & have been working their asses off every week (even overtime) through it all, none have been offerred a chance at a vaccine so far ( https://youtu.be/7wrlTfwZtkE )

I am stuck many years below the age of getting it earlier, but with health concerns. my health concerns would need MD documentation, which I don't have. So, I can risk appts. to get documented in hopes of getting a vaccine sooner or just stay the hermit i have been for the past year - i have opted for being a hermit :(

Here's to a safer and saner 2021 for all - cypress
