A couple of pictures of the Crew-6 mission returning as seen from Tampa

| I took video and a few pictures at the end, but the video didn't come out too good. I didn't expect it to be as bright as it was. The pictures are okay, but it was far away and not overhead when I switched to getting a few pictures. It was really amazing to actually see. I had never seen reentry before, at least of a Dragon capsule. I can't remember if I ever saw a Space Shuttle reentry.   It was better to see this way, with it coming across Florida and landing near Jacksonville rather than landing off Tampa. It literally streaked across the entire sky, from the southwest to the northeast. If you live in an area where reentry occurs in the future, you should check it out. It reentered over the East Pacific, came across Mexico, the Gulf of Mexico and Florida, and it was bright all across the sky. |
