Lightning in SE

If you get a chance to see it real time when the storm on the left coast went ashore it both stopped being a low impedence location and at the same time discharged its potential difference.  That really benefitted the coupling and discharge dynamic in the SE--where there is a heckofa lightning displace.  This is a real time image.  Just amazing.  I wouldn't be surprised to see with this much displacement current our first real tropical entity of the season.
