 The five day shows the pattern relativel to El Cajon's drain basin in the EPAC a bit better. SOI dropped from 18 to minus 25--yet no activity of interest in the West Pac. The UV light has dropped back to nothing and the sun is blank again--that may have something to do with it. If the SOI swings back positive and there is some UV light from a coronal hole or something like that, that is a promise for those models JAC is looking at to verify. But with the SOI so negative and no UV light, my call is suppressed activity.  Meanwhile, relative to the dam the same drought pattern, especially relative to the sub tropical jet from the EPAC, persists. |
