Observer thanks for the post.
I am not sure what to think we should never mess with Mother Nature. It is interesting to see there intellects that consider these ideas. Remember Bill Gates is only one of the people on the list and this idea is plan C. Mankind is obsessed with making things conform with his ideas.
Jack Ruby I like what you have said. "As far-fetched as it sounds now, and the article even refers to the plan as a "plan c" to be used only if other modification plans fail, I have to take the whole hurricane modification scenario more seriously now. The whole thing runs counter to my feelings about working with Mother Nature, as opposed to attempting to control and dominate her. But I think we'll be hearing more about hurricane modification proposals in the coming years."
B-Lowcountry you said it "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
Jim I agree "I think infrastructures need to be re enforced for impact and it needs to be preached constantly rather than looking for ridiculous solutions."
As for Steve Jobs I don't trust any thing he says he is the one who is after money and has always been a glory money hound. In the movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley" Steve Jobs blue off an appointment with Bill gates and has treated people like dirt. Funny now Apple has decided to use Microsoft in their computers
