Josh, its had the appearance of some WSW movement since last night. I haven't checked the string of recent coordinates, but even though I know that appearances can be deceiving, I would think that there has been something of a slight south movement. There definitely has been no north component in the last day or so. I know that models have also changed in the last 48 hours or so. Remember when the original models had a fishy smell, with the storm recurving well before the Carribean. Latest models now take the storm toward the Carribean Islands. I'm reminded of a post by Fred a couple of days ago. If storms don't recurve by 60W (the Carribean Islands) then chances of a US landfall increase dramatically.
