two things to consider here the center is north of the convection giving the appearance it is moving SW. Second a few models did show a brief flow west & even WSW followed by a turn more to the WNW a couple of days ago. This is not a surprise or a change in forecast. Unless we are tracking an exposed low I think this will still pass N.E of the Leewards.
