Watching the Yellow Box

Wave has gotten past King TUTT and is amplifying nicely.

It is now on the SW side of the TUTT in what I like to call (got it from Dr Lyons) the Sub-Equatorial Ridge (SER).
Looks like a small amount of LL vorticity is south of PR.
However shear is high there.
Maybe an opportunity north of Hispaniola where shear is very low in the SER.
Hard to tell if this will really develop at this point.
