Certainly the models seem to be handling this uniformly, but it is a bit unnerving every morning to see that they 'shifted' a bit more west.
There isn't a lot of wiggle room there. I now see TS winds on the East Coast this weekend.
Gosh, IF this thing had tracked a lot more west, the US could've had a catastrophic hit of some major metropolitian areas... a 'It Could Happen Today' scenario. At this point, we should be grateful, I guess!
Let's hope there are no more west variations. As we all know, systems this big create their own environment! |
