Thing is, model consensus has Bill less than 400 nm south and east of NYC at 102-120 hrs out.
400 miles... With a distance to travel of over 1,500 miles between then and now...
Maybe I have been watching too much of "Mega-Disasters" on the History Channel, but with a potential Cat 3 or 4 Storm less than 400 miles away....
Not too much keeping this from being the proverbial "Storm of the Century."
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS ME WISH CASTING!!! I am just making an observation based on the data available at this time and using prior hurricanes as a historical reference (think: Katrina in the Straits - The Big Bend to Pensacola in the model's bulls-eye - only 300 miles to NOLA.) |
