Not taking a big hit

Looks like Ida likes taking a stoll along the coast. In fact, core temp looks better and microwave imagery shows an eyewall and strong banding. Track will be over flat terrain. Still has a great outflow channel and trades are pushing high theta-e air in from the east. She may get back into the water with just a few minor bruises. Anti-cyclone to the SE.       |
